You can%26#039;t predict any more..

Watching Fox news the other day, oil prices jumped $ 3.00 a barrel. They blamed it on (a) increased tensions between Iran and Isreal, and (B) Rebels blew up a pipeline in Nigeria. The commenator added, %26quot;When aren%26#039;t there increased tensions between Isreal and Iran, and , didn%26#039;t rebels blow up a pipeline earlier this week. Oh, that was L:AST week!.%26quot;

And, the US Senate, in all their wisdom, want to pass laws governing speculators. I%26#039;m sure traders in England who trade oil drilled off the coast of Norway are shaking out of fear.

Having said that, MY OPINION, oil will continue to drop until it settleds in the $ 100-110 range and stay there for a while.
Meanwhile, Cogress will continue to play with their yo-yo%26#039;s, and this will all become a distant memory.

Temporarily peaked...
perhaps we are in a plateau...
Hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico, saber rattling with Iran, and other issues like that may create another upward trend, but for the time being it looks as if a small but noticeable reduction in consumption is dropping the pressure on higher prices.
