I have a thick apple %26#039;sauce%26#039; and lots of it. I made apple turnovers last night and am wondering what to make with the rest of it. I was thinking apple pie or apple crumble but I want some other interesting desserts (or main meals).

I was thinking - is it possible to make like a queens pudding but instead of jam, use the apple sauce? Any other ideas would be great!

(It was made by cooking down some apples with sugar, ground cinnamon, and a touch of ground cloves)

Well applesauce and ham or pork go hand in hand so thats one thing for dinner idea. Also, breads, spicy applesauce cake, spread it very thin to dry for fruit rollup.

We love homemade applesauce. It just rarely stays around long enough to be made into anything else except as is.
