i would like to know items of food high in fibre like dishes(pizza) and raw foods like tomatoes.

Answers:
Bread, cereal, bananas, corn on the cob

Other Answers:
well making your own pizzas and using chillies and peppers are great and more healthy, high fiber foods include all vegetable oats, friuts all that good stuff whatever you like, cereal if the best one, dates are one of the best in high fiber thats what they use to treat constipation, google it have a look
potato jackets. so any meal involving a backed potato is good.

weaterbix, porridge and musly are all high fider breakfasts.
Cereals, biscuits, bread etc anytthing that contains wheat!
All fruits and vegetables are fibre-rich especially citrus fruits like oranges, potatoes, tomatoes, corn and so on. Oat-meal is also fibre-rich and good for reducing bad cholesterols. Pizza's veg toppings are fibre-rich but not the pizza pastry at the bottom which is high carb., but if you dont take other carb for the day, its ok.
Unfortunately most Pizza is not high is fibre, since it is made of white dough and most of the ingredients are not high in fibre either, and contain additives!!

You could make your own pizza using wholemeal flour. Tomatoes are very good for you, if you keep the skins on them, they will be higher in fibre.

There are lots of cereals and granola on sale with added fibre, plus you can buy fibre to add to cereals and drinks.

Leafy veg are high in fibre, also jacket potatoes (eat the skin too).

I start the day with a huge bowl of grapes, which provides me with about half the fibre I need for the day (and not high in fat or carbs either)

You can liquidize any fruit you like and make your own smothies.

Hope this is of help.

from experience
A product or a food item can be labeled "High Fiber" when it contains more than 5g of fiber per serving.

Grain Products:
*whole grain breads, buns, bagels, muffins
*Bran Flakes, All Bran, Red River cereal, Corn bran cereal, whole wheat Shreddies
*whole-wheat pastas
*whole grains such as barley, popcorn, corn and brown rice

Fruits:
*dried fruits such as apricots, dates, prunes and raisins
*berries such as blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries
*oranges, apple with skin and pear

Vegetables:
*broccoli, spinach, swiss chard and green peas
*dried peas and beans such as kidney beans, lima beans, black-eyed beans, chick peas and lentils
*nuts and seeds such as almonds, whole flaxseed and soynuts

For prepared foods, you'll have to check the label. there are just too many possible variables to provide a useful list. Remember that to be classified as high fiber, it needs to have at least 5 mg of fiber per serving.

There has been some concern about extra fine grind whole grain flours increasingly used. Some people believe that they do not provide the high fiber benefits associated with high fiber foods. There has not been enough research to give a definitive answer.
