because the temperature is closer to your body temperature so therefore it blends in better while going down, goes down easier

The closer water is to your body temp the quicker it can be used. For anything else the water is taken out sooner when it is close to body temp. The sooner it is used the sooner it leaves your stomach and the sooner you can put more in it%26#039;s place.

If a drink is cold it must be warmed to body temp before it can be used. If a drink is hot it must sit until it cools down to body temp. Depending on how hot or cold a drink is your body will also send signals for you to stop so that you don%26#039;t overdue it with too much liquid that is too far off from your body temp.

Because when a drink is cold. . .it freezes the esophagus and makes your lungs feel cold; thus, it%26#039;s uncomfortable. At room temperature, the liquid goes down easier!

Your picture is cool umm.....

I belive it depends on people%26#039;s teeth, weather they can drink from cold or hot drinks (if it makes sense.)

I%26#039;d say because colder drinks taste more crisper and quench your thirst easier because of your mouth possibly being to warm.

Warmer drinks can just just be the same feeling as swallowing your saliva.

Yuck, no, plus cold drinks make us burn calories by making our bodies try to get it to room temperature

Its the opposite for me, I can%26#039;t drink warm beverages or I get nauseous.

I can drink more room temp water than if it%26#039;s cold. I like my juice and soda cold though so not sure about those.
answer from chineseop.com cooking QA
yes, i do because i have a really sensitive throat and i can%26#039;t dring cold drinks easily. I don%26#039;t know why, it has just always been that way.
answer from chineseop.com cooking QA
because cold drinks shrink the stomach a little bit thus making you feel full faster.
